  1. Wow, you’re still getting aftershocks. Now it’s no longer in the headlines my ignorance is almost complete, excepting of course your blog. I’m glad the people of Ibaraki have emerged relatively unscathed, and, well, giving the youth in search of a haircut the benefit of the doubt, the one time you could justifiably expect a barber shop to be empty is during an earthquake 🙂

  2. As you may have heard even on the UK news, there was a big old aftershock last night – a 7.1, no less. We had our emergency rucksack (including torch, water, rations etc.) to hand and were on the verge of evacuating the building before it calmed down. (News flash – another mini-aftershock as I was writing this comment!)

  3. Now that is a live situation. We had a power cut this morning, while I was writing a blog post. It doesn’t really compare though, does it. Neighbour’s alarm went off. Bloody annoying.
